Alan began his creative career as a freelance illustrator before transitioning to technical design over 20 years ago (designing cold storage rooms), ultimately settling at Workman LLP in 2007 and becoming MCIAT chartered. His design career has allowed him to work across all the major sectors (retail, industrial, office, leisure) with some of the largest commercial real estate clients out there. The range and scope of design instructions he’s been involved with has been incredibly varied; from small refurbishment schemes to major project works at some of the UK’s biggest shopping centres, and to all projects he brings the same level of enthusiasm, professionalism and technical competence, providing value to clients and driving projects forward.
