Stephen is a Chartered Building Surveyor by background and brings more than 25 years’ experience in commercial property consultancy work. Before joining Black Cat in 2021, he was joint Head of Development Monitoring at CBRE, where his work focused on advising clients acquiring investment interests in development projects or entering into funding or pre-leasing agreements.

Working closely with his clients’ investment and legal advisors, his pre-transaction experience includes negotiation of heads of terms, development due diligence and the negotiation of development and funding agreement provisions. Post-transaction duties involve comprehensive oversight of project implementation with a clear view to quality, programme and cost. His clients include major funders, institutional investors andlanded estates.
