Samantha is a Building Surveyor, a Fellow of the RICS and Associate Member of the ICE. Previously at the National Trust as a Senior Building Surveyor before joining their Directorate, Sam has experience of working with a wide variety of designated and non-designated assets, including conservation and repairs, refurbishments and conversions. She is also an Associate Professor in Building Sustainability, with experience of leading complex research projects including on carbon reduction across the historic built environment, marrying up-to-date academic knowledge with practical experience.
